Using your allocated free minutes (500, 2500 or 3000 minutes, as appropriate) you can call any UK local or national phone number for up to two hours at a time, at any time of day or night.
There's no prefix to dial and you don't have to change phone number, install equipment or change your line. In fact, after sign-up you don't have to do anything! Just talk...
How It Works
If you about to subscribe to Nildram broadband, you will have the opportunity to select free voice minutes at the point of order. Alternatively, if you already subscribe to Nildram broadband simply visit MyControls, the members area and select the voice service matched with the broadband you are currently subscribing to. We’ll ask you to complete a quick online signup form and then will proceed to instruct BT to route your calls through our voice service. After approximately 10 working days from your order, your phone service will automatically be switched. You don't have to do a thing.
What You Need
This service is open only to people with:
- A BT landline
There's No Gotcha!
A Nildram Voice line is no different from a BT line. Your phone operates in exactly the same way, nothing needs to be installed and you can call any number you wish. BT will still operate the line, we carry the calls for you. The only difference you may notice is the money you will save! Should you want to override the service and use BT, you can at any time.
You can call geographic-based local and national rate numbers for up to two hours without incurring any call charges (01 or 02 number) with a limit of either 500, 2500 or 3000 minutes, as appropriate per month.
- Non-geographic numbers (0870, 0845 etc, excluding 0800)
- Mobile phones
- International numbers
